Adventures in the wild
with Jan Latta
This is a unique opportunity to meet an adventurous author who
often risks her life to create books for children on endangered animals.
To create the True to Life Books Jan follows wild animals every day,
taking photographs and writing about them in their natural habitats.
She has travelled to Africa eight times, China and Borneo twice,
and also to India. Jan has played with chimps in Uganda and pandas in
the mountains of China. She has walked with lions in Zambia. She's
been charged by elephants in Amboseli and orangutans in Borneo.
A cheetah came up to her in Nanyuki and she has held the horn of a rhino!
