Elle The Elephant

I went to Africa to photograph elephants in the Maasai Mara, Amboseli and Samburu areas. I lived in a tent by myself. That was frightning sometimes, especially if a big elephant was close to my tent. My guide would drive me each day to a herd of elephants so I could write about their habitat and take photographs. It was great fun watching them playing in the water and going for a swim. On my return to Naroibi, I went to visit the David Sheldrick Elephant orphanage. It was so special playing with nine baby elephants.

Through photographs and a simple text you can see what elephants eat, their habitat and how they survive. The elephants talk to children about their lives in a true to life adventure. There are facts, maps and important information at the back of the book.
